Only rare? And Glitch post coming

The new item is the Rare Knitted Sweater!

Salon-Themed Den, Reception Desk, and an AJ Watermark

Hi buddies, this is Stang posting today. Recently, Bluewat has contacted me and said her parents have given her a time limit for computer time, so it's hard for her to post (but she'll try).

Today's new item is the Salon Reception Desk!

I found a salon-themed den! (Click for a larger size.)

The Salon Reception Desk covers the front entrance, and the walls are covered in mirrors and tables, as chairs are lined nearby. 

Did you notice that in the new "Happy Feast of Thanks!" jam-a-gram, there is an AJ watermark? (There are also some new winter themed 'stamps'.)

Pilgrim Hat and Free Mira Statue!

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

Today the new item is the Pilgrim Hat!

In the preview of the Sky Kingdom, the center of the gems is a blank area, but when you buy it, there's a Mira statue! Amazing! 

Random fact: the flamingo changed color!

Salon Products and a Glitch. But Wait, There's More!

Hi buddies, this is Stang!

Today we have another salon-themed item, called Salon Products. There's a bunch of bottles,  scissors and a brush. But wait, there's more! It also includes a table! :D

Another tempAvt glitch...

I was playing adventures today and it glitched! A phantom got stuck, and it was still attracted to ym  player even though I was in tall grass.

Gigantic Sky Kingdom, New Update, and Many Items Coming and Going!

Hi buddies, this is Stang! :)

Sorry about no post, our authors are not able to post (or aren't allowed to, in some cases). If you would like to be an author for Animal Jam Buddies, make sure you are able to post a lot, basically at least 5 days a week unless we can find another author to help you. Author requirements are on the right sidebar.

Anyway, we have a lot of news. A lot of items coming and going along with a huge update.

There is another huge den available for members at the Diamond Shop, called the "Sky Kingdom". It's bigger, better and cooler than the Crystal Palace.

It sells for 7 diamonds, the same as the Crystal Palace, but it's a lot bigger. 

This is the overview of it. In the top left is a rainy forest, top right is a stone kingdom, bottom right grassy islands and bottom left a house. This is like a combination of the castle den, small house and two other outdoor areas. 

You start out at the center of four gems pointing to the four sections. The den is huge. 

The rainy forest has a small waterfall which you can ride down. 

You can also go to the castle and ride down a rainbow and then a really long green slide.  

The slide leads you down to the bottom right island. 

The new Sky Kingdom is great, but it's really big and it takes a long time to run around the place. Overall, it's a great place to host big events (but people will probably crowd around the starting location) but not as a 'home' or place to talk with a few buddies. 

Tip: The Sky Kingdom is a really great place to host hide-and-seek or find-the-object games.

Wreaths, Owls and the Spooky Party!

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

Today I played with the sound on (I usually don't like to) and the music kind of calmed me. It reminded me of early Animal Jam ^-^

Anyway that was just random sharing. There's two new items!

The Fall Wreath, located in the regular den item shop, is in time for the holiday season!

There is also a new Pet Owl in the Diamond Shop. 

I finally got access to the Spooky Party.

Triple Epic, Frankenstein and Notices

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

Happy Halloween!

We have a lot of new items!

There's an Epic Phantom Throne in the Epic Wonders....

...as well as a Topaz Birthstone! (Same location.)

In the clothing 'orb' of the Epic Wonders is the Feathered Mask!

There's also a Frankenstein Mask in the regular clothing shop.

Spooky Top Hat, Member's Only and Art

Hi buddies, this is Stang!

Today we have a new Rare Item Monday, which is the Rare Spooky Top Hat! It is very in-theme.

This is what it looks like on an arctic wolf.

If you read the Jamaa Journal wrong like me, the additional den item spaces are members only. But what happens when your membership runs out? How does AJ choose which items to make "unreachable" and which items to remove form your den?

Silver Rivercat's friend recently made a speed-paint of my Google+ profile picture! (What my character used to look like on Animal Jam.)

A Short Post and a Mummy

Mytical Potions, Radio, Trick-Or-Teart, and Glitch!

Hi buddies, this is Stang. Sorry about no post yesterday :(

The Mystical Potion Set is very unique and isfound in the regular den item shop, just like the Spooky Radio.

The Trick-or-Treat Bucket is found in the regular clothing shop. 

The item reminds me of this:

Here's a glitch I encountered today! I was talking about fox hat with my buddy and then the glitch... occurred. 

As you may see, the items are blanked out on top and show way down on the bottom. Plus, realize that the top right box (the one containing the Fox Hat I was currently wearing) is not yellow as it usually would be if you animal is currently wearing it.

And the day I come back, I FINALLY GET THE DIAMOND.

Did you know the giant squid has the largest eyeball in the animal kingdom?

Eyeballs can get pretty big on particular animals....

I just realized that the eyeball seems to be... floating?!
