The Best Way to Trade

Hey jammers!

It's Stang doing a super special post today, featuring The Bets Way to Trade, as earlier said in my other post, The Best Place to Trade. (By that, I meant to the best place to trade if you want to dance and yell TRADE ME or offer to others.)

This awesome trading technique can get you REALLY great trades. I did an auction for a non rare Frankenstein Mask.
This was the winning trade:

The best way to trade is....

AUCTION

What is an auction?

An auction in real life is where there's a group of people who want to buy something.

So the person who is selling the object says the starting price which, let's say, is $30.

People in the group raise their auction paddles and say an amount of money that is higher than the previous amount.

What it may sound like: "The starting price is $30!" "$35!" "$40!" "$50!" "$60!" "Going once, going twice, SOLD!!!"

In Animal Jam, gems are almost worthless compared to really rare items, so we use the rare-ness value system, which has not been created yet. It's just basically Animal Jam logic and knowledge of how rare an item is.

Here's an example.. so let's say, it's an auction at my den for the Frankenstein Mask.

There's isn't much of a starting price. The trades' rare-ness increase due to the other jammer's pressure and want to obtain the Mask. You can apply that pressure by saying the previous trade.
For example....

The first trade was a few Monday Rares. Declined.
So you say, "Two Monday Rares in lead! Can anyone do better than that?"
Second trade: Rare Fox Hat
Once again, you say, "Rare Fox Hat in lead! Can anyone do better than that?"
Third: Nonmember bat wings. Declined.
Kepe doing that...
Nonmember bat wings and a fox hat, declined.
Remember to say the best trade, because if the next trade is a plushie, and you say can anyone do better than a plushie, then the trades' rare-ness are going to drop.
Fourth trade: Three Monday Rares
A few trades later.. the fifth trade: Mech Wings, Worn, Rare Fox Hat, and Rare Freedom Mask.
ACCEPTED.

Remember to not delay too long, because if you wait too long, the smarter ones are going to realize that they're over-trading and it isn't fair. Then people will leave and you'll be stuck with really bad trades.
Usually by the time you get something that amazes you, just accept it; don't delay because the offerer may later change his or her mind.
