Den Design Ideas

Hi buddies, this is Stang with a special post: Den Design Ideas.

Don't know how to make your den look unique? Then this post is perfect for you! :)

Note: If you are reading this in a language other than English, the word "plushie" is not a real word but a word from Animal Jam, and it means "stuffed animal".

1. Plushie Display

The Plushie Collection display is a neat and organized way to show off your plushies without cluttering up your den. Since they are so small, I suggest putting them in a place where it is raised and away from other items, like the barriers in your house that separates the den form the outside.

Plushie display! You actually can't fully see some of them up there, but it looks cool.

2. Plushies with bows!

They look make your animals look cute but...

...avoid putting them on these special type of plushies that move, because when you click ti and it rolls up into a ball, you are left with a weird "floating" bow. 

An alternative to that is putting them on other stuff, but if the animal is too small, it will look weird. 

You can also put bows on other things that will fit it. (For example, phantoms do not fit a bow, unless you want to make it look funny.)

3. Fake Second Floor

I'm a non-member, and as you may know, we non-members don't like how we don't get to do certain things that members get to, like having a bigger house.
Anyway, I used a rug (you get one when you start) to make a second floor. You can't access it so it can be like a "storage" are where you can put random objects that look nice but don't fit in with your theme.

4. Symmetric Dens

Symmetry in dens makes them look really nice, especially if the items go together.

5. Phantom Globes (A Concept)

If something looks like it will fit with something else, mash them together and if it make a cool new item, keep it. This phantom has a circular top and it's about the same size as the snow-globe. 

Basically, you can stack items to make them look better!

This one is a scarecrow on a portal on a stone circle. (Warning: the portal changed color so sometimes if it is a non-matching color, it will look really bad.)

Hi buddies, it's me, Stang posting. Posting is quite hard but I'll try to post when possible. ;)

Link Within, Shelf, and DE Art and Pictures

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

Today's new item is another salon themed den item: the Salon Shelf. It sells for 400 gems and is for members.

I recently added a gadget called Link Within, which 'recycles' old posts and suggests older posts related to the current post you are reading. 

I haven't posted about the Daily Explorer for a while, so here it is!

Only rare? And Glitch post coming

Salon-Themed Den, Reception Desk, and an AJ Watermark

Hi buddies, this is Stang posting today. Recently, Bluewat has contacted me and said her parents have given her a time limit for computer time, so it's hard for her to post (but she'll try).

Today's new item is the Salon Reception Desk!

I found a salon-themed den! (Click for a larger size.)

The Salon Reception Desk covers the front entrance, and the walls are covered in mirrors and tables, as chairs are lined nearby. 

Did you notice that in the new "Happy Feast of Thanks!" jam-a-gram, there is an AJ watermark? (There are also some new winter themed 'stamps'.)

Pilgrim Hat and Free Mira Statue!

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

Today the new item is the Pilgrim Hat!

In the preview of the Sky Kingdom, the center of the gems is a blank area, but when you buy it, there's a Mira statue! Amazing! 

Random fact: the flamingo changed color!

Salon Products and a Glitch. But Wait, There's More!

Hi buddies, this is Stang!

Today we have another salon-themed item, called Salon Products. There's a bunch of bottles,  scissors and a brush. But wait, there's more! It also includes a table! :D

Another tempAvt glitch...

I was playing adventures today and it glitched! A phantom got stuck, and it was still attracted to ym  player even though I was in tall grass.

Gigantic Sky Kingdom, New Update, and Many Items Coming and Going!

Hi buddies, this is Stang! :)

Sorry about no post, our authors are not able to post (or aren't allowed to, in some cases). If you would like to be an author for Animal Jam Buddies, make sure you are able to post a lot, basically at least 5 days a week unless we can find another author to help you. Author requirements are on the right sidebar.

Anyway, we have a lot of news. A lot of items coming and going along with a huge update.

There is another huge den available for members at the Diamond Shop, called the "Sky Kingdom". It's bigger, better and cooler than the Crystal Palace.

It sells for 7 diamonds, the same as the Crystal Palace, but it's a lot bigger. 

This is the overview of it. In the top left is a rainy forest, top right is a stone kingdom, bottom right grassy islands and bottom left a house. This is like a combination of the castle den, small house and two other outdoor areas. 

You start out at the center of four gems pointing to the four sections. The den is huge. 

The rainy forest has a small waterfall which you can ride down. 

You can also go to the castle and ride down a rainbow and then a really long green slide.  

The slide leads you down to the bottom right island. 

The new Sky Kingdom is great, but it's really big and it takes a long time to run around the place. Overall, it's a great place to host big events (but people will probably crowd around the starting location) but not as a 'home' or place to talk with a few buddies. 

Tip: The Sky Kingdom is a really great place to host hide-and-seek or find-the-object games.

Wreaths, Owls and the Spooky Party!

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

Today I played with the sound on (I usually don't like to) and the music kind of calmed me. It reminded me of early Animal Jam ^-^

Anyway that was just random sharing. There's two new items!

The Fall Wreath, located in the regular den item shop, is in time for the holiday season!

There is also a new Pet Owl in the Diamond Shop. 

I finally got access to the Spooky Party.

Triple Epic, Frankenstein and Notices

Hi buddies, this is Stang.

There's an Epic Phantom Throne in the Epic Wonders....

...as well as a Topaz Birthstone! (Same location.)

In the clothing 'orb' of the Epic Wonders is the Feathered Mask!

There's also a Frankenstein Mask in the regular clothing shop.
